| We at Safari Schipperkes breed only on a limited basis. And, we only breed when we want something to show. We are located in Fort Worth, Texas (about 30 minutes West of Dallas) Occasionally, we will have pet and/or show puppies available. We do not ever sell a puppy to breed to your pet Schipperke! If you are a responsible pet or show home and are interested in inquiring about a puppy, please fill out our Adoption Inquiry Form. Do not be intimidated by the form, it is a lot of information, but it helps us get to know you better. We care very much about where our babies end up, so we have a contract and require that all pet puppies be sold on limited registration and must be spayed or neutered. |

Our schipperke puppies are micro-chipped and companion puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract to approved pet homes. At Safari Schipperkes, we breed for the very best quality, health, temperament, and conformation to the breed standard. Our Schipperke puppies represent that committment to excellence in this fabulous breed that we are so passionate about. That being said, Schipperke puppies are not for everyone. | Lady is a precious girl. She was found shivering on a couples' back porch when they returned from vacation. It was storming and she was very scared. They took her in and quickly became attached to her. However, they had two adult Siberian Huskies and the female Husky would not accept "Lady". With broken hearts, they ask for help in placing her. She has been living with our family for several weeks now and we love her too. She is house trained, has her shots current and tested heartworm negative. We put her on Interceptor for heartworm prevention. She is a wonderful bed buddy. She sleeps with one of my teenage daughters currently and will run jump on the bed and lay down when evening comes. She isn't hyper at all. She has the sweetest dispostion and would run away before ever biting anyone. She gets along with our dogs both male and female. I believe she is half Schipperke/half Corgie. She has the size and proportions of a Corgie, including those signature ears but many traits of the Schipperke as well, including the length of leg. One of my daughters is involved in FFA and raising goats to show. She takes Lady to the barn with her and Lady helps round up the animals. She has such a wonderful spirit. I believe she would be happy in a fairly calm household due to her shyness and would benefit from many more outings like we have given her to continue to teach her that the unknown isn't always bad.
